Position Overview:
Our North-Shore based client is looking to fill a permanent position for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. This position is available due to strong company growth.
Responsibilities include:
• Build and support test cases and test plans for enterprise-wide applications and systems.
• Utilize test automation tools for stress, performance, and functional testing.
• Analyze testing results for compliance with project specifications and requirements.
• Track and report defects.
• Work with Software Developers to troubleshoot defects.
• Mentor Junior Software and QA Engineers.
Required qualifications include:
• Bachelor's Degree (ideally in Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience as a Software QA Engineer in both Unix & Windows environments. Also requires experience with various Web technologies, including Apache, Tomcat, Oracle, HTTP, XML, HTML, etc.
• 3+ years experience using automation testing tools (Silk Test, LoadRunner, QuickTestPro )
• Must be able to develop a complex test infrastructure using languages such as C++, Java, or C#
• 2+ years using automated build and test execution systems.
