Director of Information Security - Cambridge, MA

This is a full-time permanent position, reporting to the CTO of a highly profitable, stable organization located near the Alewife Station in Cambridge.

Job Responsibilities:
You will be in a highly visible role, responsible for establishing the policies, procedures, and strategy to ensure the security of the systems, applications, and nformation. In this leadership position, you will maintain the integrity of electronic assets and establish strategic monitoring and assessment methods.

• Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies and procedures across the enterprise
• Ensure that all policies and procedures are in accordance with Federal requirements
• Strategize with continuity planning stakeholders
• Execute risk and vulnerability assessments
• Establish metrics and reports to ensure continuous compliance
• Manage incident responses
• Support external and internal audits
• Actively monitor new threats and risk mitigation alerts

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years of Information Technology experience.
• CISSP and/or CISM certification, HIPAA experience, and at least 5 years of Security experience.
• Development, implementation, and management of security strategy.
• Risk assessment planning and execution.
• Management of security monitoring systems
• Investigation management & audits
• Proven ability to build roadmaps for adoption to emerging trends
