Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Bedford, MA

This is a full-time permanent position, available due to company growth. Reporting to the Director of Software Quality Assurance, the selected candidate will provide hands-on Project Leadership for company's test automation/API testing process.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Act as Software QA Project Leader on projects.
* Represent QA at project/product team meetings and steering committee.
* Develop overall project QA strategy and approach.
* Mentor QA engineers.
* Develop and execute detailed test specifications.
* Maintain test scenarios and test data for projects
* Work closely with project team throughout the project software development life cycle.
* Review all project documentation including requirements, technical specification, project validation deliverables reviews and project walk-troughs.
* Participate in software defect review meetings. Monitor and maintain automated software
defect tracking database.
* Help create Standard Operating Procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 4 years of QA Lead/Management experience (8+ years overall QA experience)
* Proven and recent experience with Test Automation or API testing
* Knowledge of Java, C++, or SQL
* Relational database experience, ideally Oracle
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
