Senior Linux Administrator
Our client in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator for a full-time permanent position. You will have the opportunity to join a growing company in the social media space with a specific and defined niche.
Responsibilities
•Daily support, maintenance, and engineering of a robust Linux system.
•Nagios monitoring
•MySQL Database Administration
•Network design and administration
•Securing the network and defending against threats.
Requirements
•Strong Systems Administration experience
•Minimum 5 years professional experience with Linux and MySQL
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
•5+ years experience with networking (TCP/IP, Cisco routers, Pix firewalls, DNS, and DHCP)
•Scripting experience preferred
•Experience with co-located hosting sites
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Comfortable in a dynamic startup environment
